We have same day availability, so we can see you for acute and urgent care needs on the same day you call for an appointment. Fortunately, the days of driving miles from home to get care is a thing of the past. The Primary Care Clinic is making it possible for the people of Pagosa Springs to be seen by highly skilled providers, right here in our own community. We also offer $25 flu shots and $20 Sports Physicals on a daily basis! We accept Medicare, Medicaid, CHP+, Commerical Insurances, and we offer a Sliding Fee Scale for under-insured and non-insured patients. To qualify for the sliding fee services, the patient will need to fill out a brief application, along with 2 current pay stubs and a statement of the number of people residing in the home. As of January, we are launching our Patient Portal which grants our patients easy and private access to their medical information online, so you can view your personal health record whenever and wherever you have access to the Internet! You can gain access to your private health information and receive periodic updates and reminders from your doctor on your personal e-mail address!

Open Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 and now Saturday from 8:00 - 1:00, the Primary Care Clinic serves patients with 4 full-time providers. 
Another service provided by The Primary Care Clinic at Pagosa Springs Medical Center is the Early Detection Program. The program offers free cholesterol screens with counseling and follow up, as well as low cost self-ordered lab testing. With the focus on prevention, the program guides patients to develop a healthier lifestyle and/or seek medical services when needed.
